Our Programs

Learning Through Curiosity, Connection & Discovery

At Natural Elements Early Learning, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, connected and genuinely engaged in the world around them.

Learning That Begins With Your Child

Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, but they begin with something much more personal: your child.

Educators watch what children are drawn to, listen to their questions and notice what they are just starting to be able to do, then build experiences that stretch that curiosity a little further.

Families are part of that too. Telling us about a weekend adventure, a new fascination or something your child keeps talking about at home is often where their next piece of learning starts.

Across the year, community visitors, incursions and real-world experiences also help children meet new people, ideas and possibilities beyond the centre gate.

Whole Child

Building Strong Foundations

The early years play an important role in shaping a child's confidence, resilience and lifelong love of learning. Our program focuses on supporting the whole child through experiences that encourage:

Emotional wellbeing and self-confidence

Communication and language development

Creativity and self-expression

Social skills and relationships

Problem solving and critical thinking

Independence and resilience

Physical development and wellbeing

School readiness and learning foundations

Nature-Inspired Learning

Nature is woven throughout our daily experiences and learning environments.

Children are encouraged to connect with the natural world through outdoor exploration, gardening experiences, sensory play and open-ended discovery.

These experiences help children develop curiosity, environmental awareness, creativity and confidence, and a sense of calm that is hard to build indoors. We believe nature provides some of childhood's richest learning opportunities.

Bush Kindy

Learning grows beyond the classroom.

Bush Kindy gives children time and space to learn through nature. They explore, notice seasonal changes, take thoughtful risks and follow their curiosity in the outdoors.

These experiences support confidence, resilience, problem solving and a lasting respect for the natural world. Educators guide the learning while leaving room for children to make discoveries of their own.

Included for Kindergarten children

Swimming lessons at no additional charge.

Kindergarten children attend swimming lessons as part of their program, with the cost included in their daily fee. It is another practical way we help children build confidence and important life skills before school.

Learning Through Play

Play is how children make sense of the world around them.

Through purposeful play experiences, children develop social skills, creativity, communication, emotional regulation and problem-solving abilities.

Our educators actively engage alongside children, extending learning through meaningful conversations, thoughtful questions and intentional teaching moments. We believe some of the most powerful learning occurs when children are given the freedom to explore their own ideas.

Creative Expression

Creativity is encouraged throughout every aspect of our program.

Children have opportunities to explore art, music, movement, storytelling, dramatic play and creative projects that allow them to express their ideas, emotions and imagination.

We focus on the process of creativity rather than the finished product, encouraging confidence, experimentation and self-expression.

Relationships & Belonging

We believe children thrive when they feel connected.

Building strong relationships is at the heart of our approach. Our educators take the time to genuinely know each child, understand their interests and create environments where children feel safe, valued and respected.

These trusting relationships create the foundation for learning, confidence and emotional wellbeing.

School Readiness

More than letters & numbers.

Our approach focuses on developing the whole child: the confidence, curiosity and resilience they need to step into their next stage of learning with joy.

Free Kindergarten Approved Program, Queensland Government

Our Kindergarten program is a Queensland Government approved Free Kindy program, led by university-qualified early childhood teachers.

School Age Care

Before school, after school and vacation care.

A welcoming place where school-aged children can unwind, catch up with friends, follow their own interests and get stuck into something they enjoy, before and after the school day and right through the holidays.

Children have room to run around outside, a quiet corner if they need one, and food prepared onsite so they are not arriving home starving. Care is Child Care Subsidy approved, the same as our long day care places.

A Program That Grows With Your Child

Every child arrives with their own story, personality and way of learning. Our educators adjust experiences as children's needs and interests change, so the program keeps pace with your child rather than the other way around.

At Natural Elements Early Learning, we believe childhood should be filled with wonder, connection, discovery and joy. That belief shapes every program, every environment and every experience we create.
