Supervision, risk and environment
- Clear policies and procedures ensure children are adequately and actively supervised at all times.
- Regular risk assessments are conducted to identify and manage potential hazards.
- Our campus is designed to support supervision, safety and accessibility, including safe access to bathrooms and outdoor spaces.
- Secure keypad entry means only authorised families and visitors can enter the campus.
Policies, procedures and compliance
- Detailed policies cover child safety, incident response, online safety and risk management, delivered by our dedicated team of early childhood educators.
- Our service is regularly reviewed by the Regulatory Authority to ensure we meet all legislative and safety standards.
- Child safety is embedded throughout every area of the National Quality Standard, keeping it an ongoing focus across our whole operation.
Staff screening and training
- Every team member must hold a current Blue Card, which includes a National Police Check and a review of reportable workplace misconduct.
- Educators complete approved child protection training at least annually, alongside ongoing professional development.
- We carry out thorough reference checks and ACECQA prohibited person checks for all educators.
Health, hygiene and wellbeing
- Strict measures are in place for immunisation, allergy and medical management, food safety and infectious disease prevention.
- We follow best-practice guidelines for sun protection during outdoor play.
- Tobacco, vaping, alcohol and drugs are not permitted on campus under any circumstances.
Digital safety and technology
- Team members are prohibited from using personal devices to photograph or film children.
- Only service-issued devices may be used, with strict privacy and consent protocols in place.
Child protection and reporting
- Protocols are in place to proactively prevent incidents and manage them effectively if they occur.
- All educators are mandatory reporters and are required to report any suspected or known abuse or neglect to families and the relevant authorities.
- Allegations, complaints or incidents involving abuse must be reported within 24 hours.

Safety questions families ask
Is the centre secure?
Access is controlled by a secure entry system, all visitors are signed in, and the playground is fully fenced. All educators hold current Blue Cards, first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
What qualifications do your educators hold?
Our team holds Certificate III, Diploma and Bachelor level early childhood qualifications, and our kindergarten program is led by a university qualified early childhood teacher. Every educator holds a current Blue Card plus first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
How do you keep photos of children private?
Photos are shared with your family through KindyHub, our secure parent app, and we only use images more widely with written permission from you. You can change your permissions at any time.
What happens if my child is sick or needs medication?
Children who are unwell or have an infectious illness need to stay home until they are well, in line with Queensland Health exclusion guidelines. We can administer medication with written authorisation from a parent and the original labelled packaging.
