Our childcare programs are designed to nurture each child’s unique interests and developmental stages. Play is the foundation of learning, and we use children’s interests to expand their play into exploration, discovery, creativity, social skill development, and self-discovery.
We recognise the vital role parents play as their child’s first teachers, and we work closely with them to ensure their child’s involvement in activities. Our experienced educator’s program activities engage children in storytelling, drama, poetry, games, and music, providing language and literacy development opportunities.
Both indoor and outdoor play are integral to our program. Our outdoor areas are designed to provide a learning environment that challenges children’s coordination, balance, skills, and strength. They engage in activities such as climbing on play gyms, riding bikes, playing ball games, sand-pit play, water play, playing with dolls and prams, scooters, swings, balancing beams, growing plants, and exploring the natural elements.
Occasionally, we invite people from the community to visit and conduct talks and activities with the children. These include nurses, dentists, animal farms, firefighters, police officers, and people from different cultural backgrounds.
We value and encourage input from families, staff, and the broader community into our programs, policies, procedures, and decision-making, recognising that families, staff, and the community are vital in providing equitable care on our campus. We aim to build a foundation for each child’s education and maintenance, promoting diversity, respect for the environment, sustainability practices, and well-being, including healthy eating and lifestyle habits. Most importantly, our childcare programs are fun and engaging, designed to help each child reach their full potential.
