Philosophy

At Natural Elements Eagleby, we are dedicated to delivering a comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable developmental and educational service to our local community.

Our aim is to provide a nurturing, safe, and healthy environment for the children in our care. We recognise and celebrate the unique needs and talents of each child and achieve this through the employment of caring and qualified educators.

We are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care in a secure and trusting environment. We strive to create a warm and welcoming “home-like” atmosphere that promotes a realistic and natural environment. Our focus is on enhancing real-life experiences and learning through the use of natural materials.

At Natural Elements Eagleby, we celebrate the uniqueness of every child and the special qualities they bring to our campus. Our educators create a warm, welcoming, supportive and caring environment where children can develop socially, cognitively, emotionally, physically, and morally. We believe in nurturing the whole child, supporting their needs, and fostering their growth and development.

We implement the Early Years Learning Framework Curriculum – Belonging, Being and Becoming, which helps children develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. We also offer the My Time, Our Place program for older school-age children. In addition, our QLD Government approved Kindergarten program, led by a Bachelor trained teacher who follows the QLD Kindergarten Guidelines, started in 2013.

Our approach at Natural Elements Eagleby is to acknowledge and appreciate each child’s unique qualities and the importance of each family’s contribution to our community. Doing so aims to foster a positive self-concept and attitude towards learning and play.

Our team strongly believes in promoting understanding, appreciation, and respect for social and cultural diversities within our community. We strive to ensure that every child, regardless of socio-economic background, ethnicity, gender, race or physical ability, receives equal opportunities and support to learn and grow.

We are dedicated to promoting and supporting the values of diversity, environmental awareness, sustainable practices, and overall well-being, including healthy eating habits and maintaining physical health.

Together we take the time to build the individual foundations of education and care for all children’s futures. The role of families, the staff and the broader community are vital in providing equitable care in our campus and we value and encourage input into our programs, policy, procedures and any decision-making.

We have close relations with our surrounding community and the importance their roles play on the children and our campus as a whole.

We as educators must be able to extend the child’s home experiences. Therefore a close liaison with parents is essential to ensure a high degree of parent participation and involvement and, in so doing, form the essential partnership that must exist between home and childcare.
